| CPDC (China Petrochemical Development Corporation) was established on April 24, 1969. Once a State-Owned Enterprise under the supervision of Ministry of Economic Affairs, Executive Yuan, its stocks were listed at Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TSEC) on July12, 1991. On June 20, 1994, CPDC was privatized. The total capital was NTD 16.9 billion in 2005. |

The headquarter of CPDC is located in Taipei and its three main production bases are in Miaoli county, Kaohsiung county and Kaohsiung City. With these three Petrochemical plants, CPDC is the main domestic supplier of upstream raw material for resin, engineering plastics and three major types of synthetic fibers including nylon 6 fiber, acrylic fiber and polyester fiber. Our main products are Caprolactam (CPL), Acrylonitrile (AN), Glacial Acetic Acid (GAC), Nylon Chip and Ammonium Sulfate (AS).
CPDC is the sole manufacturer of CPL in Taiwan and is the top 5 nylon 6 raw material supplier in the world. Meanwhile, CPDC is one of the 2 AN manufactures in Taiwan. With world-leading production technology, CPDC is the top 10 AN manufacture in the world. Moreover, CPDC is one of the leading GAC manufactures in Taiwan.
