Feature

Nylon 6 is categorized to polyamide, which has excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardancy and electrical characteristics

  • Good heat resistance
  • Nylon is a crystalline plastic with hydrogen bond and high mechanical strength.

  • Good heat resistance
  • With high melting point, nylon 6 has a melting point of about 220 ± 5℃ and good heat resistance. Its material is not easy to deform used in high temperature environment.

  • Good fireproof property
  • The lowest oxygen index (Lol) of nylon resin is 27 ~ 28%, which has fire resistance. By adding fire retardant, the flame resistance can reach UL94 V-0

  • Good weather resistance
  • By adding stabilizer to improve the weather resistance, it is widely used in automotive exterior accessories

  • Good chemical resistance
  • Due to its good crystallinity Nylon has good solvent resistance and oil resistance

  • Good wear resistance
  • Nylon 6 has good sliding wear characteristics and self-lubrication. By adding glass fiber, the wear resistance can be improved.
