Nylon 66 resin is an engineering plastic with higher melting point, which is used in automotive engine room parts and electronic and electrical parts, and is also developed in packaging materials fields.

Nylon 66 resin is an engineering plastic with higher melting point, which is classified as polyamide in chemical structure. Nylon 66 in nylon resin series has excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance, low temperature impact and fire resistance

  • Good mechanical strength
  • Nylon is a crystalline plastic with hydrogen bond and high mechanical strength.

  • Good heat resistance
  • With high melting point, nylon 66 has a melting point of about 270 5℃ and good heat resistance. When used in high temperature environment, its material is not easy to change

  • Good impact property at low temperature
  • Nylon resin has good impact resistance and keeps stable impact resistance at low temperature (-30~40℃)

  • Good fireproof property
  • The lowest oxygen index (Lol) of nylon resin is 27~28%, which has fire resistance. By adding fire retardant, the flame resistance can reach UL94 V-0

  • Good chemical resistance
  • Nylon has good solvent resistance and oil resistance because of its crystallinity

  • Good wear resistance
  • Nylon 66 has good sliding wear characteristics and self-lubrication. By adding glass fiber, the wear resistance characteristics can be improved
