Following the mandate from Ministry of Economic Affairs, CPDC was merged with the another State-Owned Enterprise, China Phosphate Co., Ltd and had Hsiaokang Plant as another production site and added Dicalcium Phosphate and other phosphates as new products.

Following the mandate from Ministry of Economic Affairs, CPDC was merged with the another State-Owned Enterprise, Taiwan Alkali Co., Ltd and closed Ann-Shen plant in Tainan. (note: there is not any site development or use since CPDC merged with this plant).

Following the mandate from Ministry of Economic Affairs, CPDC was merged with another State-Owned Enterprise, Chungtai Chemical Co., LTD thus added Kaohsiung plant (CPL Plant No. 1 ) and Tou-Fen plant (CPL Plant No. 2) as production sites and added a new product, CPL.

Following the mandate from Ministry of Economic Affairs, CPDC took over Kaohsiung plant of Taiwan Alkali Co., Ltd and changed the name to CPDC Chen-Jen plant. Therefore, CPDC has Chen-Jen plant as another production site and new products chloralkali.
