Acrylonitrile (AN) has numerous downstream products. Its main application is as a raw material for acrylic fiber and ABS plastic. AN is another major CPDC product. CPDC is one of only two AN manufacturers in Taiwan.

ABS Plastic
Computer cases, automotive (dashboard, wheel caps, reflector boxes), shells for home appliances, high-intensity tools (hair dryers, mixers, lawn mowers etc.)
NBR Rubber
Wire coating material, rubber parts for the automotive and mechanical industry (e.g. oil seals, electric rings), foam insulation materials
Acrylamide
Water treatment agent, soil water absorbing agent, modifiers, Pulp toughening agent, plastic additives, and leather & metal coating
